I want to borrow to start a business. Is this possible?

It is not possible to take out a business loan to start your business. Once you have a registered business that has been operating for at least 3 months, you can apply for a business loan with us.

What does a business loan from Qred cost?

Qred does not use a standard rate, but evaluates each business loan application on an individual basis. Our team makes an overall credit assessment of whether a business owner is able to meet future payments, and we look at whether the amount borrowed is commensurate with the size and turnover of the business.

With Qred, you pay a fixed price each month for a business loan of €1000 to €200,000. This price consists of two parts: a fixed monthly fee for using the loan (user fee), plus a fixed monthly repayment on the outstanding loan amount (amortization). Add the two amounts together and you have your total monthly amount. The amount you pay in monthly user fees and amortization is calculated based on the loan amount, the loan term, a company's credit score and other factors.

Why a fixed price for a business loan?

We prefer a fixed monthly price, because this way you as a business owner know exactly what will be debited each month. As a result, you never have to worry about complicated interest rates or a sudden increase in your monthly charges. With Qred, the monthly amount remains the same throughout the term of your business loan (unless you apply for a loan increase in the interim and want to borrow additional credit).

Is Qred an authorized bank in Belgium?

Qred's headquarters is based in Sweden. Qred is thus regulated as a bank by the Swedish financial supervisory authority Finansinspektionen. Finansinspektionen has an international cooperation agreement with the FSMA.

Will my application be automatically approved?

No, your application is not automatically approved. Our team evaluates each application individually.

Based on the credit assessment, we are sometimes forced to reject an application for a business loan of €1000 to €200,000. One of the most common reasons is that the creditworthiness of a company or representatives is not sufficient, for example, because there are already debts with other agencies. That said, individual payment arrears are not always grounds for an immediate rejection. Qred always looks at the whole and thinks with the customer about the options. Another reason for rejection is that the information provided is incorrect or insufficient, or that the company's ability to pay is uncertain or cannot be represented.

Do I have to pay VAT on the fixed monthly price?

No, the monthly price is exempt from VAT.

Do you charge invoice fees?

This depends on how you want to receive your invoice. We automatically send our invoices in PDF format via email. We do not charge for this. However, if you choose to receive your invoice by mail, we charge €3 per invoice.

What happens if I can't repay the loan on time?

We strongly encourage you to contact us should you have trouble paying an invoice. We are always willing to discuss a solution!

It is best to make sure you have made the monthly payment by the due date at the latest. This way you avoid dunning and collection costs. If we have not received the payment on time, we will first send you a friendly reminder. If the loan is still not paid after that, your case will be transferred for collection. If the company fails to meet its payment obligation, the guarantor will be held personally responsible for payment.

When do I need to make my monthly payment?

You pay once a month. An example: if you accepted the loan on the 12th of the month, the first payment should be in our hands by the 12th of the following month.

We will send you your invoice via email 10 days before the payment date each time. You can also find the invoice 10 days before the payment date via your MyQred profile.

How do I contact Qred?

You can reach us by phone on 02 588 09 83 (Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00). You can also contact us by sending an e-mail to support@qred.be.

Are there any hidden costs?

No, there are no hidden fees. At Qred, we are completely transparent about our prices and terms. At Qred, you pay a fixed monthly price that can be found in your offer. This price consists of two parts: a fixed monthly fee for using the loan (user fee), plus a fixed monthly repayment on the outstanding loan amount (amortization).

We don't work with varying interest rates or hidden fees, so our customers know exactly how much they need to pay each month. Would you like to repay the loan earlier? Then this is also possible at no extra cost. This way you only pay for the period you actually need the loan!

When is the loan transferred?

Once you have signed your offer, we transfer the money to your account within one more hour. Depending on vacations and differences between banks, for example, the loan may be available in your account the same day or the next business day.
